Are you looking for a dip that is sure to be a game-stopper for your next party? Whether you are hosting a Super Bowl party, or just going to a friend’s party and need to bring a dish, this is the recipe to make!
First, let me start by telling you how much I love hummus. Some of my readers know this already, but you should know, I try to use it on everything. So why not a gameday appetizer that steals the show? So I created this Buffalo Chicken Hummus Dip.
I got so many great comments and raves about my hummus spinach dip recipe that I used it as my inspiration for this recipe! In less than 5 minutes of prep and a little love in the oven, you’ll have a hot dip that will be the center of attention at a party.
This is definitely a guy’s dip and is perfect for game day! When I think of football, I think of the guys hanging out eating chicken wings around a table full of appetizers. But wings can get so messy! I took the flavors of buffalo wings and my favorite, hummus, and voila!
This Buffalo Chicken Hummus Dip is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It’s the perfect gameday recipe and one your family and friends will ask you for the recipe!
This dip is perfect for entertaining or just serving it as a snack. It comes together quickly and the oven does the rest. Check out how easy it is to make.
In case buffalo sauce makes this dip too spicy for you, you can learn how to make my Hummus Spinach Dip.
Another reason I love this recipe is because dips are typically loaded with sour cream and cream cheese, adding extra calories that are unnecessary. Most party dips also contain dairy, so this is also a great substitute for a hefty, flavorful dip.
Note: This dish is not fully dairy-free, as I do use blue cheese to top it off and make it the perfect dip for watching football. You can omit the blue cheese for a dairy free recipe and still have a delicious recipe!
The hummus changes this dish up from the trendy buffalo chicken dip you will find on Pinterest. And oh boy, you will get a ton of raves. My husband couldn’t believe how awesome this came out, and neither could his friends.
Wondering what to serve with this awesome dip? I chose to serve mine with the classic side of celery, but you can use carrots, peppers, pita bread or chips.
