Baked Frozen Chicken

How to bake frozen chicken in the oven so it turns out flavorful and juicy. 


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, frozen


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, seasonings, salt and black pepper. 
  3. Add the chicken to the baking sheet in a single layer and drizzle the marinade over the tops of the chicken, making sure to coat each piece. 
  4. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F for white meat or 175F for dark meat.
