Creole Tomato Salad

Creole Tomato salad on a plate

Use the freshest creole tomatoes or steak tomatoes you have available. I prefer mine at room temperature and for them to be very ripe.


  • 12 creole tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh basil
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Dash of salt
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Slice tomatoes in thick meaty slices and finely chop your basil leaves.
  2. Lay tomato slices on a plate. Sprinkle with fresh basil, dash of salt and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
  3. Right before serving, drizzle with olive oil.
