For mornings where you want to make a nutritious breakfast but time is of the essence, this Cinnamon Roll Smoothie recipe is one everyone will love.
It’s a time saver when it comes to the breakfast rush hour and will keep your family going all morning long.

Is Cinnamon Good in Smoothies?
Can you enjoy a smoothie that tastes indulgent AND is good for you? YES! That’s why cinnamon is a great addition to any smoothie. It tastes like dessert while offering many health benefits.
Cinnamon is packed with antioxidants, which help to reduce cellular damage. According to some studies, it could also have anti-inflammatory effects, protect against heart disease and cancer, and help to low blood sugar levels.
Combine this great spice with ingredients like oats, almond milk and banana, and you have a delicious and quick smoothie with tons of benefits!

Ingredients
Simple and delicious ingredients make this smoothie a terrific breakfast that tastes like dessert! Here is what you need:
- Vanilla almond milk: make this smoothie dairy-free while adding a silky-smooth taste and great texture.
- Frozen bananas: for thickness, sweetness, and nutrition.
- Cinnamon: it’s not a cinnamon smoothie without it!
- Vanilla: for more dessert-like flavor, optional.
- Brown sugar: gives this smoothie a more authentic cinnamon roll sweet taste. Optional.
- Old-fashioned oats: for thickness and extra nutrition.
I love the taste of this smoothie so much that I’ve also been known to add a scoop of protein powder to make an epic post-workout smoothie.
How to Make a Cinnamon Smoothie
You can make this nutritious cinnamon smoothie in no time with the blender. Enjoying an epic breakfast has never been this easy!
- Blend
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. - Enjoy!
Pour the smoothie into two glasses, and top with sprinkled cinnamon.
Check out this quick video to see this smoothie magic happen.
In addition from being a morning game changer, I’ve found this smoothie to also make a great after-school snack for the kids. A serving is just enough to hold them over until dinner.
It may sound decadent, but I assure you that this smoothie is nutritious and convenient. Two things I look for when it comes to our weekday morning recipes.
Busy mornings, afternoon sweet tooth solutions, workout recovery; whatever it may be. I love this Cinnamon Roll Smoothie and I know you will too!

Oh my goodness. This was incredibly delicious! I subbed a few things to fit our eating style (raw milk in place of almond, and maple syrup instead of brown sugar). It really does taste like a cinnamon roll! What a treat!
Thank you!
SAMIKSHA PATEL
Are the oats dry or cooked? Thanks!
Laura Fuentes
Hi Samiksha, the oats are added dry to the smoothie. No need to cook!

I cheated and used Silk’s coconut milk (all I had in the fridge the green carton) and it came out amazing. Already added the unsweetened vanilla to my shopping list. Thanks for a great recipe

I LOVE SILK!! We use it in every way you’d use dairy milk. Usually buy the original so I can use fit for all recipes but I can see this would be better with the vanilla. Another recipe to add to our stash! thanks.
Elizabeth
Looks great Laura! – How do you think this would work with coconut milk (nut allergies)? Thanks!
Laura Fuentes
It will work great, Elizabeth!

Do you think the flavor would change too much if I added chia seeds? So glad I found this… #sanitysaver
Laura Fuentes
Add away!

What a great video! I wish I looked that cute and put together in the morning! My poor husband sees my bear look in the morning instead! We will try this soon since I have all of the ingredients. Thinking about freezing the leftovers into popsicles!
Laura Fuentes
Those popsicles would be so good! Well, I don’t look that put together most mornings… usually, I’m running out in my pjs and no bra… but nobody wants to see that LOL
SHIRLEY SCHNEIDER

I’m DEFINITELY going to make this! Thank you for the freezer cup tip! I have some of those from canning and now I am going to freeze my smoothie. I don’t have kids but getting out of the house with breakfast isn’t easy to do for me. Always running late

My husband makes fun of me because I am never on time. Like ever!! this video made me laugh. I love Silk’s Dark Chocolate Almond milk. I’m going to try this recipe with it!

I’m a stay at home dad and our mornings are insane. My wife works the nightshift at a hospital and she walks in when we are about to go to get in the car. The kids always want to “play” with mom and they often delay the mission: to get out of the house on time! I love Silk Almond milk since we are a dairy-free, gluten-free house. thanks for a great recipe!
Matt
Call me crazy but in the 2 years I’ve been following your recipes and videos this is the best and most fun video I’ve seen. LOVE the inside look at a crazy morning. The reality s that mornings are pretty crazy in all of homes.
Jessica Mendoza
this looks delicious. Our mornings are crazy busy with a newborn, a 3 year old, and a 7 year old to get out of the house. We don’t have school busses so I have to get the baby and 3yo in the car on time to bring the older one to school. not always on time and breakfast is often an afterthought. Love the idea of insulated cups in the car!
Jenna
THIS IS ONE OF YOUR BEST VIDEOS YET!! The recipe looks awesome and it will be helpful for our mornings. Ours are hectic as a single mom with 5 kids so…. the blender will come to the rescue!
