Place the ground beef into the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker. Break up the meat with a wooden spatula or meat chopper tool. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat and pour the salsa over the top. Mix to combine as well as possible.
Cook:
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours. Here and there, use the spatula or chopper tool to break up the beef into smaller pieces. This can be done when the meat is finished cooking too.
Once the beef is cooked through, use a spoon to drain the liquid or fat from the bottom of the slow cooker.
Serve:
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the meat to a serving bowl or serve it directly from the slow cooker.
Store:
Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days and freeze for up to 2 months.
