Instructions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, ⅓ cup hot water, and salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat, and stir in the water, making sure it doesn't boil.
Remove the hot cocoa from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour into mugs and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
