In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the tomato puree, honey, maple syrup, white vinegar, tomato paste, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, fish sauce, and liquid smoke. Use a whisk to combine the ingredients.
Add the seasonings and bring the sauce to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, to cook it down.
Let the bbq sauce cool down completely before pouring it into a jar. Refrigerate it for up to a week.
