Pour half of the Buffalo sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker dish. Add the chicken pieces and pour the rest of the sauce over them. Use a fork to move the chicken pieces around and distribute the sauce evenly.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on LOW for 8 hours. You can also cook it on HIGH for 5-6.
Once the chicken is tender and easily separates (shreds apart) when pulled with two forks, shred the meat and toss it around in the sauce. Keep warm and serve.
Notes
This recipe will be as mild or spicy as the buffalo sauce you use. For a good middle-of-the-road sauce, use my Buffalo sauce recipe linked in the ingredients above.
