Instructions
Make the filling:
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until it's begun to get soft and translucent. Add the ground meat, garlic, and taco seasoning.
Continue to cook, breaking up the meat as it cooks, for about 5-7 minutes until it’s cooked through. Add the black beans, stir, and heat them up with the ground meat for about 2 minutes.
Assemble:
Place 2 iceberg lettuce leaves on top of each other to form a sturdy base. Scoop some of the meat and bean filling into the lettuce.
Top each taco lettuce wrap with your favorite toppings.
