It’s easy to make a batch of almond flour at home with a blender or a food processor and a handful of blanched almonds (almonds without the skin).

- Add the almonds to the blender
Place 2 cups of blanched almonds inside the blender jar and close the lid.
Blend on high in 15-second intervals, making sure to stop each time, and let the almonds settle as they are chopped. Scrape the sides as needed to move around almonds as they turn into flour.
Once the almonds have a sand-like texture, you’ve got flour. Sift through a sieve to remove any large pieces.

How to Make Fine Almond Flour
The key to making fine almond flour is to sift it! When it comes to sifting, you have options.
You can use a powdered sugar sifter or a fine mesh sifter to get that fine almond flour and to catch any larger chunks or pieces that may have been missed in the blender.
Avoiding “chunky” Almond Flour
Avoiding chunks in your almond flour is easy as long as you blend it long enough to resemble sand and sift it after blending or processing.
A few chunks are normal and expected; and since all blenders are a little different, you can always stop the blender, use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides, and give it another whirl.
Once you begin to see that a fine, sand-like “powder” is forming, that’s a good time to stop and check.
You need to stop the blender once you notice that the almond flour isn’t moving anymore inside. If you over-blend past this point, you’re going to turn it into almond butter!
