How to Choose a Robot Vacuum Cleaner
For years, my friends have been telling me that keeping up with pet hair wouldn’t be so bad if I invested in a robot vacuum. And my response was always the same “I’ve got too much floor space to clean for one unit, and I have several types of flooring in my house.”

At first, I thought I’d get a robot vacuum to just take care of the vacuuming but after a little research and thinking through it a bit more, the option to have the robot mop too was very appealing. I mean, if you’re going to buy a robot vacuum unit to save you time from vacuuming, why not have it do both?

In this mama’s mental load, housework and chores can typically take up a good chunk of time each week. And it can sometimes feel like I can’t keep the house clean with three kids (and their friends), a dog and a cat, no matter how many mopping and vacuuming sweeps I do.

I have been following your posts for about 6 months, and have found many tips and tricks with cooking and making life more simple. But, there was nothing in there to help me get back my time with cleaning, so to cut back on the animals hair I had to get my dog shaved. Not to worry he is pretty handsome, but his hair was to hard to keep up with and still is. Spring is in the air and that means dirt, grass, hair and who knows what else will end up in my house on a daily basis. A robot vacuum would definitely allow me more time to play and have fun with the family after work.

I was researching robot vacuums just this afternoon. I have an 80 lb Australian Shepherd, a wonderful dog, but he sheds like crazy! I work full time, commute 2 hours a day and have 3 kids. This vacuum will give me back 2-3 hours a week.

I need (would love to have) this vacuum! I have slobs-at-the-table-crumbs-on-the-floor people living with me (aka my lovable trio: hubby, teen son, & tween son). I also have a dog with allergies that sheds a lot, but even more when the pollen is bad outside. Thank you for the chance!

Robot vacuum welcome to your new home! You’ll be loved and cared for as one of my children! Your only chore will be to take care of the floors, that your three other maniac siblings will constantly keep dirty. In our new house we’ll try a no shoes in the house policy, but will likely fail as it did in our current home. Don’t worry there’s a lot I will change for you. The newborn baby sister will not be allowed to climb on you when she starts crawling and the older two will have to wipe you off as a thank you for cleaning up after them. They will be sent to timeouts if they even look at you like they’re thinking of sitting on you. This will be your home sweet home for years to come. You’ll be my favorite!!!
