There are many mornings where I hit the snooze button and secretly wish I could sleep in an extra hour or two. Mostly because as I roll over to shut off my phone’s alarm, I come face to face with one of the beautiful humans I’ve brought into this world.

Mom-life. Work-life. Activities... all in a great day's work. Today, I'm sharing how I stay motivated to stick with it every day. How do you #StickWithIt?

On any given night, one of my three kids has snuck into my bed and made themselves comfortable, eliminating any extra space available to a mom who desperately needs her sleep. So as you can imagine, the snooze button is not a welcomed notification.

Never the less, I count down in my head 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… as if an imaginary rocket ship was about to launch into space. It’s 4:35 am, after all, and no sane person willingly bolts out of bed without a real purpose. Right? Exactly.

Thankfully for me, the coffee pot began brewing its magic drink ten minutes earlier, and by the time I’ve put on my workout clothes, I can fill up a tall mug to sip on the way to the gym.

While I’ve only been working out early in the morning three times per week for the last eighteen months, persevering and sticking with it has made me appreciate myself more and give me the focus and energy I need to juggle my work life and motherhood. Sometimes the balance can be tough, but working hard pays off!

Those three mornings I head straight to the office to get an early start on my deadlines. This jumpstart also allows me to leave and get home early to be with my kids, prep or cook dinner in the afternoon, and play outside or take them to activities.

No two days at the office are the same, which makes my job that much better. Some days I’m solely focused on writing blog posts and video scripts, researching social media trends, scheduling social media posts, while other days I’m researching recipes, working on email campaigns, and other business ventures I want to explore.

With the recent purchase of the MOMables Studio and its five-month renovation process, my day-to-day has been extra busy but I motivate myself. I’ve had to commit to making healthy foods ahead of time by prepping as much as I can the night before and dinner as soon as I get home in the afternoon.

Eating healthy, exercising, and making sure I sleep enough are all very important to me. My readers often ask what I eat in a day, and it pretty much looks like the recipes you see me share on my website either packed to go inside a container or at home.

The truth is that I share what my family and I like to eat, the recipes that I test and love, as well as the stories that are important to me around them. Simply put, it gives me great satisfaction to feed my family food that I’ve made for them; and while not every recipe is a success, over the years, they’ve become more receptive to trying mom’s concoctions.

You could say that by the time 8 pm rolls around I’m ready to go to bed with the kids. After exercising, working, doing mom things, and driving back and forth around town for activities, the grocery, and errands, I’m often spent. All in a good day’s work though.

The next morning, I’m eager to wake up and see what a new day brings, and it’s because I hold a vision of where I want to go and the things I want to achieve, that I find the energy to do it all over again and stick with it.

How do you stick with it every day? What motivates you to continue to work hard?
