Each summer, I hear from my Southern friends that there is nothing more refreshing than a “well made” glass of cold iced tea. A quick peek inside any refrigerator, and you’ll find a chilled pitcher of brewed tea that’s been sweetened to taste. Except at my house, I have a house full of unsweetened iced tea drinkers that have turned me into a tea connoisseur, since we have a tea-making ritual a few times a week.

And this summer, we are celebrating our Summer Fri-YAYs with Teavana’s Tea, a delicious way to dive into the perfect summer weekend with herbal and botanical iced tea blends.
I recently told you that there are few things I enjoy more than hanging out with my kids and family after a long work week and that we usually go to my mom’s house to relax and play and celebrate summer!
Today, I want to share with you what I often do before I go to my mom’s house. I often leave the office around lunch to meet my girlfriends for a spin class.

Perhaps that’s not what you had in mind when it comes to celebrating Fri-YAYs, but as you can imagine, after one has kids, happy hours have an entirely different meaning. For my girlfriends and me, happy hour happens after we have a great sweat date (like spinning or hot yoga), pick up our kids, and celebrate the end of the rushed week by the pool with a tall glass of iced tea.
Who says you can’t celebrate with a tall glass of iced tea in our backyard while the kids play? These blends from Teavana are unimaginably thirst-quenching that pair perfectly with every summer occasion. From relaxing poolside to a summertime party, they are sure to make a bright botanical splash.

And since there is nothing I love more than watching my kids giggle and play at the end of a long week, this is the perfect happy hour for me!
What's your favorite way to enjoy your Fri-YAYs?!

My favorite way to enjoy Fri-YAY’s is doing a BBQ party at the evening with friends and family.
Anyway, I love the way you guys enjoy Fri-YAY’s. It’s a great fun to meet with friends on weekends.

As long as we get to relax for a bit… it’s totally worth celebrating the end of the week.

You are SO MUCH FUN! I don’t even work out on Fridays -that’s my excuse- but I do LOVE tea.
