Grilling not an option? Bake frozen burgers on a sheet pan and enjoy the same deliciousness quick and with minimal prep!

Sheet Pan Burgers from Frozen
Using the oven when I have no time- or good weather -to grill is something I usually do when my family craves kabobs and grilling is not an option. Just like oven beef kabobs, frozen burgers turn out delicious and are way more convenient!
A pack of frozen burgers on hand always saves the day; and if you can bake them fast in a sheet pan with no need to thaw them, double win! Add healthy burger sides, and you have a complete meal that no one will resist.
Baked frozen burgers take very little time to prepare, and there is minimal cleanup. Bonus: you can easily add cheese, toast buns, and add your favorite seasonings. Woohoo!
Do You Need to Thaw Burgers Before Baking?
No, you don’t need to thaw the burgers before baking them. Just take them out of the freezer and place them on the baking sheet.

How to Bake Frozen Burgers
Easy peasy! Here you have the steps to make baked frozen burgers and all the tips for more flavor and easy clean up:
- Prep
While the oven preheats, line a baking sheet with foil or place a cookie cooling rack over it. I prefer the second since the air flows better, you don’t need to flip the burgers, and the grease falls in the tray. - Season
I like to season my burgers with salt and pepper, but you can add whatever seasonings your family prefers. - Bake
Bake the frozen burgers for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through if you’re not using a wire rack. - Make ’em cheesy!
Do you want cheeseburgers? Top each patty with a slice of cheese and bake for a few minutes until the cheese is melted. You can also toast the buns. - Enjoy!
Assemble the burgers with your favorite ingredients, and enjoy!

How Long to Cook Frozen Burgers
With the oven preheated to 425F, the baking time for frozen burgers is 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how well done you prefer the patties.

Easy Sides
Enjoy these baked patties with buns, and pair them with a nutritious side such as oven-baked corn on the cob, delicious lemon garlic asparagus that you can cook in a pan in 10 minutes, or a simple side salad. Amazing!
Baked Frozen Burgers

Watch how it’s made:
Ingredients
- 4 frozen beef patties
Instructions
Prep:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F with the top oven rack in the middle position. Line a baking sheet with foil or place a cookie cooling rack on top of the baking sheet -the latter helps air flow under the burgers, you don't have to flip them, and allows the grease to fall to the bottom of the tray.
- Place the frozen burgers on top of the cooling rack or a lined baking sheet. Season the tops of the frozen patties with some salt, pepper, and any seasonings you enjoy. This is optional, but I personally like to season my burgers a little.
Bake:
- Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake the burgers for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how well done you enjoy yours. If you lined the baking sheet with foil, flip the burgers over halfway through cooking so they cook evenly. This isn't necessary when using the wire rack.
- If adding cheese to your burger, top each patty with a slice of cheese and bake them for another minute or two, until the cheese is melted. You can also toast the buns for a minute or two while the cheese melts. Remove the burgers from the oven.
Assemble:
- Assemble the burgers dressed just the way you like them, anything goes!
