Dreams do come true because this Chocolate Banana Ice Cream is made with only 2 ingredients! It's an easy homemade ice cream recipe!

A chocolate rich dessert with only two ingredients? Yes! That's exactly what you get with this chocolate banana ice cream!

Chocolate Ice Cream with 2 Ingredients

This recipe is an instant way to have a treat with minimal fuss, and the best part is that it puts those frozen bananas you've been saving up for smoothies to use.

I’m almost positive every time bananas are purchased AT LEAST 1 or 2 will reach that point where no one in my house will eat them. So, in order to not throw out any food, I freeze them and tell myself that I'll use them for smoothies or Chocolate Chip Banana Bread later.

And later comes and then… I forget. I mean, I use frozen bananas all the time but sometimes I totally fail because I find them in a zip bag hiding in the back of the freezer. Yeah, you're shaking your head because this happens to you too!

The good news is that you can put them to use with this recipe because the sweet chocolate masks it all.

You can also use those frozen ripe bananas to whip up a batch of banana muffins or 2 ingredients cookies…but I don’t know about you, turning on the oven is the LAST thing I want to do when it's hot outside.

How to Make 2 Ingredient Ice Cream

Ice cream with two ingredients might sound too good to be true, but it’s really that easy! All you need is frozen bananas & some chocolate hazelnut spread and you’re ready to make this tasty Summertime treat!

  1. Combine
Use a food processor or blender to process the bananas. When they reach a soft ice cream consistency, add the chocolate hazelnut spread and process just to combine.
  2. Refrigerate
Place the ice cream in a freezer-safe container and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Watch this quick video to see just how easy it is!

Can You Make This Nut-Free?

Yes, you can. You can still enjoy this frozen chocolate treat by using this Sunflower Nutella in place of the chocolate hazelnut spread.

Omg, I can’t believe how easy this ice cream was to make! I used a vegan chocolate hazelnut spread and it turned out wonderfully. Love that it doesn’t take long to freeze either. Thanks!

This is a great recipe. I made it yesterday for dessert, and it’s ridiculously easy. It’s also wonderfully creamy, which I love.
