Keep taco night simple with these ground chicken tacos. The recipe below will help you get dinner on the table fast!

Tacos with Ground Chicken
When my grocery put ground chicken on sale last week, I stocked up and froze a bunch of it for quick meals like chicken burger patties and these epic ground chicken tacos. They’re a perfect weeknight dinner for families and always a win at my house.
The ground chicken takes on the flavor of the seasoning, just like it does when making ground beef tacos, but they are a lot less elaborate than making regular chicken tacos. Top them however you like because the filling works with everything.
Tips for Making Ground Chicken Tacos
This easy recipe will make your taco night one for the books. Follow these tips and get ready to enjoy!
Use any onion
Onion is a great starter for this taco filling, so you can chop a fresh onion, use frozen chopped onion, or even onion powder. Everything works!
Break up the chunks
Use a wooden spoon to break up the chunks while the ground chicken cooks in the skillet for even cooking and optimal texture.
Save time
While the ground chicken cooks, warm up your soft tortillas or crunchy taco shells and prep the toppings so you’re all set when the chicken is cooked.

Best Ways to Serve Them
Aside from adding tasty taco toppings such as shredded cheese, guacamole, jalapeño slices, and shredded lettuce, these tacos get even better with a simple salsa or this drool-worthy cilantro lime rice. Hey, and what about sipping a classic Margarita? I’m in!
