Crave nutrition, deliciousness, and a boost of energy? These mocha overnight oats will kick up your morning!

Chocolate & Coffee Overnight Oatmeal
After making many overnight oats recipes for my family, these mocha overnight oats have become a new favorite. I mean, as someone who loves the creaminess and convenience of overnight oatmeal and can’t start her day without coffee, enjoying both in one jar is beyond amazing.
And the chocolate! If the energy from the coffee and the health benefits of oats were not enough, cocoa powder makes its appearance and turns this meal into the most delicious grab-and-go breakfast.
Is There Caffeine in This Recipe?
These overnight oats include espresso or strong coffee to reach the classic mocha flavor. While both contain caffeine, you can use a decaf coffee to make the recipe lower in caffeine, yet not 100% caffeine-free, since all decaffeinated coffee has a small amount of caffeine.
Ingredients
You’ll need old-fashioned oats (hold their texture best overnight), plain or vanilla yogurt, espresso or strong coffee, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla, and honey for sweetness.
How to Make Mocha Overnight Oats
These jars with mocha flavors are incredibly easy to make! Check out the simple steps:
- Combine oats, yogurt, coffee, cocoa powder, vanilla, and honey in each jar and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate the lidded jars for 4 hours or overnight.
- Enjoy cold or warm it up in the microwave with your favorite oatmeal toppings.
