Crispy, golden, and ready in 4 minutes, these air-fryer frozen waffles are about to become your favorite way to make breakfast.

Can You Air Fryer Frozen Waffles
Yes! Not only is this cooking method incredibly simple and delicious, but the results are just as good as in the toaster! But I can’t take all the credit as my daughter first tested this method in her college dorm.
Since she lives on campus and can only use the air fryer or the microwave, easy breakfast recipes like these air-fryer pancakes and air-fryer toast have been lifesavers! Quick, easy, and she’s able to eat something for breakfast in minutes!

How to Make Frozen Waffles in the Air Fryer
Follow these easy tips for how to make the perfect golden brown frozen waffles in the air fryer:
- Air Fry the waffles
Another perk about this recipe is that there’s no need to preheat the air fryer! Simply place the waffles on the rack and cook at 360F for 4 minutes. Flipping is optional and only for those who like perfection. - Top & Serve
Remove the waffles from the rack and plate, and top with your favorites, such as butter and syrup. Enjoy!

How Long Does it Take to Air Fry Waffles
The trick to getting golden-brown frozen waffles in the air fryer is by cooking them for a total of 4 minutes; whether you flip them or not, that’s totally up to you! Anything longer and they’ll be hard and shorter, and you’ll get a frosty bite in the middle.
Best Brand of Frozen Waffles for Air Frying
My kids love the classic Eggo homestyle frozen waffles, but feel free to use your family’s favorite brands! Note: Temperature and cooking times will vary depending on the thickness of the waffle.
Reheating Leftover Homemade Waffles
Air frying homemade waffles is just as simple and easy as reheating frozen waffles! The process is the same, but depending on what type of waffle maker you have, Belgian waffles are thicker, so they’ll take a minute or two longer to cook.
Waffles stored in the fridge will take less time to cook than frozen ones. I recommend cooking them for about a minute or so less than a frozen waffle.
Best Toppings for Air Fryer Waffles
You can never go wrong with the classic butter and maple syrup combo, but if you’re looking to switch things up, try my blueberry syrup and strawberry syrup! For more epic topping ideas, check out my list of the best waffle toppings!
