For mornings where you want to make a nutritious breakfast but time is of the essence, this dairy-free healthy Cinnamon Roll Smoothie recipe is one everyone will love. It’s a time saver when it comes to the breakfast rush hour and will keep your family going all morning long.
As you can see, mornings can be tough. The kids have to get ready, the dog needs to be walked, and making everybody breakfast is a dance of precise timing and organization at my house.
Except, I don’t always have it together which is why I keep recipes like this up my sleeve.
The key to any great smoothie is the base, right? I use Vanilla Almondmilk because of its silky-smooth taste and great texture. Not to mention it’s nutrition, like having 50% more calcium than dairy milk.
Unlike other cinnamon roll smoothie recipes, this version is fully dairy free. What gives this smoothie a thicker texture are the frozen bananas and oats. When added to the vanilla almond milk, you have the base of something nutritious and filling.
So now the secret is out. That’s my base for many of our go-to breakfast smoothies.
To this, you can add berries, peanut butter, canned pumpkin, blueberries, even spinach! If that’s not a terrific recipe hack to get a variety of smoothies done fast in the morning, I don’t know what is!

I digress from why you are here, my friend. The truth is that my breakfast smoothie base alone won’t build this incredible cinnamon roll smoothie. What’s a cinnamon roll without the “cinnamon”? Nothing. Nada.
And then there is the optional brown sugar. Sure, that takes it to the next level of authentic when it comes to a cinnamon roll. However, since we all have different levels of sweetness preferences, I marked it as “optional” in the recipe below.
Aside from being a morning game changer, I’ve found this smoothie to also make a great after-school snack for the kiddos. A serving is just enough to hold them over until dinner.

I love the taste of this smoothie so much that I’ve also been known to add a scoop of protein powder to make an epic post-workout beverage. The list goes on!
If you keep up with my recipes, you may have noticed that I’m forever on a quest to satisfy my family’s craving for sweets with wholesome alternatives and hearty snacks. I’ve found that our favorite desserts can be reworked to inspire easy, nutritious recipes that kids love.
It may sound decadent, but I assure you that this smoothie is nutritious and convenient. Two things I look for when it comes to our weekday morning recipes.
Busy mornings, afternoon sweet tooth solutions, workout recovery; whatever it may be. I love this Cinnamon Roll Smoothie and I know you will too!

Oh my goodness. This was incredibly delicious! I subbed a few things to fit our eating style (raw milk in place of almond, and maple syrup instead of brown sugar). It really does taste like a cinnamon roll! What a treat!
Thank you!

I cheated and used Silk’s coconut milk (all I had in the fridge the green carton) and it came out amazing. Already added the unsweetened vanilla to my shopping list. Thanks for a great recipe
