Hummus isn't just for dipping. In my opinion, it's best used as a vessel to create other magnificent recipes -like this layered hummus dip. Don't believe me? Read on.

Easy Hummus Dip with 7 Layers
Dips of all kinds have always been a favorite in my family. My husband is a huge fan, especially for football Sunday and any other big sporting event. We both enjoy all dips but I especially enjoy ones with all the delicious toppings and this layered hummus dip has just that.
Some of you may know that I really love recipes with hummus and, being raised in Spain, I love all the Mediterranean flavors this dip provides. Not only is this recipe perfect for game day, but it also is always a great appetizer for any party you throw or attend.
Bonus: it's super easy and quick to put together! If you happen to have any leftovers (which is not likely), this would be a great addition to a salad for your lunch or dinner the following day!

Ingredients
Below, I share what I included in this layered hummus dip and possible substitutions, but you’re free to add more of one thing and less of another:
- Hummus: store-bought or my stepdad's recipe for authentic Greek hummus.
- Crumbled feta: a classic Greek cheese, but you can use any other you have. Parmesan, cottage, and goat cheese make a great swap.
- Calamata olives: or any pitted olives you prefer.
- Roasted red peppers: from the store or made at home.
- Mild pepperoncini: optional for a note of heat.
- Tomato: any tomato adds freshness.
- Cucumber: another classic Mediterranean flavor.
- Fresh chopped oregano: or use dill instead.

I ADORE hummus. I need to learn how to make naan bread and I think my families life would be complete as we could live on anything with naan bread! Any suggestions?
