Cilantro lime sauce is my favorite drizzle for tacos, although I’ve been known to pour it generously on salads, drizzle over grilled chicken breasts, and more. It’s the perfect combination of creamy and tangy with the freshness you expect from freshly chopped cilantro.

Easy Creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce
What’ makes this recipe easy, you ask? The fact that it comes together in a blender in under a minute.
From the blender, you can simply pour it into a jar or squeeze bottle and keep it in the fridge for when you need it.

- Sour cream: makes this dressing super creamy!
- Lime: its juice adds a citric note that goes great with cilantro.

How to Make Creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce

Place the sour cream, milk, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cilantro in your blender jar. Blend until smooth. - Store
Pour this delicious sauce into a lidded jar or a squeeze bottle and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

How to Use Cilantro Lime Dressing
Outside of drizzling it straight into your mouth, this cilantro lime dressing is great over blackened fish tacos, drizzled over a tex-mex omelet, used as a salad dressing, and with grilled shrimp. Here are a few of my favorites:

Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch of salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer inside a lidded jar or squeeze bottle and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
