When you need dinner fast and effortlessly, this recipe for honey mustard chicken thighs always delivers!

Chicken Thighs with Honey and Mustard
For years, my kids loved to eat honey chicken legs for dinner. Now, my youngest is having a thing for chicken thighs, so I decided to make a few changes to that recipe and serve these epic honey mustard chicken thighs.
This recipe is much quicker and delivers the incredible flavor you only get when combining the sweetness of honey with the tanginess of Dijon mustard.
Ingredients
This recipe calls for bone-in chicken thighs and simple staples to infuse the meat with flavor: honey, Dijon mustard, garlic cloves, olive oil, dried or fresh rosemary and thyme, salt, and pepper.
How to Make Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs
You’ll make this recipe using a baking dish or cast-iron skillet and following these steps:
- While the oven preheats, combine honey, mustard, garlic, oil, herbs, and seasonings in a bowl. Remove any excess fat from the chicken thighs and pat them dry to ensure the seasoning adheres to the meat.
- Spoon the honey mustard mixture over the tops of the thighs.
- Bake the chicken for 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 175F.
How to Serve It
Some of my favorite sides for these chicken thighs include cilantro lime rice, a simple sweet potato salad, 20-minute roasted green beans, and roasted vegetables.
