A simple recipe for overnight oats with mango that tastes as good as it looks!

This mango overnight oats recipe is the perfect recipe to use your fresh ripe mango in!

Overnight Oatmeal with Mango

Overnight oatmeal is my favorite way to start my day with something delicious and healthy that I can whip up the night before in 5 minutes. I always have frozen fruit or find ripe fruit in the fridge, so this way, nothing goes to waste.

Mango, I have to say, is not a fruit I eat every day, but my youngest has been asking for it since the last time I made coconut mango popsicles. So, mango overnight oats! And, I agree with him: oats and mango are an incredible combo.

Fresh or Frozen Mango

You can make overnight oats with fresh or frozen mango. So, whether the fresh mango you have is ready, or you found frozen mango chunks you want to use, go ahead and make this recipe!

How to Make Mango Overnight Oats

  1. Combine oats, milk, chia seeds, and diced mango in jars. Stir to combine.
  2. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Serve cold or warm with your favorite oatmeal toppings. Bon appetit!

Recipe Variations

For more protein, make these overnight oats with Greek yogurt, protein powder, or cottage cheese. No milk or yogurt? Make overnight oats with water! If you want more delicious add-ins, include shredded coconut, cashews, or nut butter. Amazing!

How Long Will They Last

Mango overnight oats last up to 3 days in lidded jars stored in the fridge. Longer than that, the mango will change its texture and turn soggy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 ½ cups milk, any
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds, optional
  • 1 cup diced mango

Instructions

Fill the jars:

  • Fill each jar with ½ cup of old-fashioned oats, ¾ cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of chia seeds, and ½ cup of diced mango. Stir to combine.

Refrigerate:

  • Cover the jars with a lid and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Serve:

  • Warm up for 30 seconds in the microwave, or enjoy cold. When I'm feeling extra, I love to drizzle these with some nut butter and a couple of cashews.

Notes

For more protein, swap the ¾ cup of milk in each jar for ½ cup of Greek yogurt and ¼ cup of water or milk (a total of 1 cup yogurt and ½ cup milk).
