Are you ready to take your tastebuds on an epic adventure? I’ve got just the recipe with spicy roasted cauliflower that’s simply addictive!

Sweet & Spicy Baked Cauliflower
If roasted cauliflower wasn’t delicious enough, toss it with a sweet and spicy sauce and you’ll have a 5-star dish everyone will devour. This recipe gives a twist to my Roasted Curried Cauliflower recipe, another classic side dish my family loves!
Of course, it’s an incredible side, but you should also try it over a salad, or serve it as a guilt-free snack, as I do with Buffalo cauliflower bites on game nights. There are many delicious ways to enjoy cauliflower, and this is just one of them!
Ingredients
The mix of Sriracha, honey, and soy sauce gives roasted cauliflower a salty, sweet, and spicy flavor you will crave often! I also like to add red pepper flakes for an extra kick of heat.
To save time, you can use pre-chopped cauliflower florets or grab a fresh head and cut it into perfect florets.
How to Roast Cauliflower
Prep everything in 10 minutes and then let the oven do the rest. Making spicy roasted cauliflower is that simple and it turns out amazingly delicious. Follow these simple steps for perfect roasted cauliflower florets:
- Make the sauce
Whisk the Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and oil until smooth. Add the cauliflower to the sauce and toss to coat the florets thoroughly. - Time to roast
Transfer the cauliflower onto a lined baking sheet and roast at 400F for 25 minutes or until golden on the outside and fork-tender in the center. Remove from the oven and serve.
How to Make Crispy Roasted Cauliflower
If you’re looking for tender roasted florets with a crisp exterior, make sure to space the florets evenly on the baking sheet, leaving room between each piece. Overcrowding the florets will cause them to steam and yield a mushier texture.

What Spices Go Well with Cauliflower
Just about any flavor and spice tastes incredible on roasted cauliflower, but here are a few tried and true combinations from your pantry spice rack:
- Curry
½ tablespoon curry powder + ½ teaspoon garlic powder + ½ teaspoon salt + 1 tablespoon olive oil. - Parmesan & Herb
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning + ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese + ½ teaspoon salt + 1 tablespoon olive oil. - Southwest
1 teaspoon chili powder + 1 teaspoon ground cumin + ½ teaspoon smoked paprika + ½ teaspoon salt + 1 tablespoon olive oil.
What to Serve with Spicy Baked Cauliflower
You can dip these spicy roasted cauliflower pieces in your favorite sauce for a healthy snack or serve them as a side of juicy baked chicken pieces or Cajun salmon. It’s also a great addition to top salads, tacos, or rice bowls. It makes everything tastier and more nutritious!
