Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

One thing I’ve learned over the years is how to make veggies more appealing for my family. When in doubt, you can add bacon, like with these bacon Brussels sprouts… but the air fryer is a mess-free option that makes Brussels sprouts delicious and crispy.

You’ll love them because all you have to do is add a little oil and a few seasonings for extra flavor and the result is just as delicious, caramelized, and crispy as any oven-roasted vegetable, making them an irresistible side for chicken, salmon, and anything you want to serve them with.

Ingredients

The air fryer makes its magic in this recipe, so you don’t need anything fancy to turn the Brussels sprouts into a delicious side. Here’s what I use:

  • Brussels sprouts: cut them in quarters.
  • Olive oil: adds flavor and crispiness.
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

How to Make Brussels Sprouts in the Air Fryer

Air frying Brussels sprouts is suuuuper simple! Here you can confirm how easy the steps are and check my cooking tips for perfect Brussels sprouts every single time:

  1. Prep the Brussels sprouts
Cut them into quarters and soak them in water for 5 minutes. This adds moisture so the sprouts so they don’t dry and burnt in the air fryer.
  2. Season
Coat well with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook
With the air fryer preheated at 360F, cook for 12 minutes. Shake the basket at least twice during for even cooking.

How Long to Air Fry Brussels Sprouts

The Brussels sprouts take about 12 minutes to be cooked in the air fryer at 360F. During this cooking time, remember to shake the basket at least twice. Once done, they’ll be slightly golden, caramelized, and crispy on the outside and soft and tender in the center.

What to Serve with Brussels Sprouts

Want the air fryer to solve dinner for you? Serve these Brussels sprouts with air fryer salmon, fish sticks, or chicken breasts! If you prefer to cook a protein quick and easy on the stove, make chicken pieces in a pan, or go meatless with this fettuccine Alfredo! SO good!
