Baked Tortilla Pizza

Friday is pizza night in our house and my favorite way to repurpose leftovers from the week. When I’m not making pita pizzas or bell pepper pizzas, I serve this irresistible tortilla pizza!

This recipe is the definition of a family-friendly dinner: kids love it, while this busy mom can assemble it in 15 minutes with any ingredients I have around. Amazing, I know!

So forget about take-out or food delivery! This easy-to-customize pizzas satisfies everyone’s cravings in no time since each one in the house can choose their favorite toppings for their personal pizza!

Ingredients 

Like regular pizza, this recipe calls for a base, tomato, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Here are the details of what you need to make this tortilla pizza:

  • Flour tortillas: the base of these easy pizzas!
  • Olive oil: or cooking spray.
  • Marinara sauce: or your favorite tomato sauce, like this hidden veggie tomato sauce!
  • Shredded cheese: is it really pizza without cheese?
  • Pepperoni: a classic pizza topping, but you can add your favorites.
  • Chopped basil: optional for extra flavor.

How to Make Personal Tortilla Pizzas

Does anyone prefer ham instead of pepperoni? Oregano instead of basil? Customize each tortilla pizza to make the easiest dinner ever! Here’s how:

  1. Prep
    Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Assemble
    As you would do with a classic pizza, add marinara sauce, shredded cheese and your favorite toppings.
  3. Bake
    After 8 to 10 minutes in the oven, your tortilla pizzas are ready to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • Olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Chopped basil

Instructions

Prep:

  • Preheat the oven to 375F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Assemble:

  • Brush the tortillas with olive or spray with cooking spray.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over each tortilla and top with desired toppings.

Bake:

  • Place the tortilla onto the lined baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve:

  • Remove the tortilla pizzas from oven, slice, and serve.
