I’ll share time, temperature, and all my pro tips to make crispy salmon bites in the air fryer.

Salmon Bites in the Air Fryer
With baked salmon in my top list of favorite proteins to serve nutritious meals, I think these air fryer salmon bites are just about to get their own well-deserved place on the podium. It’s just as easy as making air fryer salmon fillets, but more versatile!
Instead of serving salmon fillets with a side, you can use these delicious salmon pieces to kick up protein in salads, pasta, and everything in between. Plus: bite-sized food is always more fun and easier to eat!
I’m all about effortless meals, so my air fryer and I have become BFF. I mean, this healthy recipe takes 10 minutes to cube the salmon and 10 minutes of cooking. And clean-up is a breeze. That’s 100% a win for me, my friends!
Seasoning Salmon Bites
You can season these salmon bites with your favorite herbs and spices. For this recipe, I love using my delicious salmon seasoning. Other tasty options are blackened seasoning and Cajun seasoning.

How to Make Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Once you make this recipe, you’ll become a fan of these air fryer salmon bites! It’s super simple, so here you’ll find the steps and tricks for success:
- Prep the salmon
Cube the salmon fillets into even pieces so they cook at the same time. - Prep the seasoning
If you’re using my homemade salmon seasoning, mix the herbs and spices in a small bowl. - Season the salmon
Coat the salmon bites with oil and then sprinkle the seasoning. Don’t skip the oil; it helps the seasonings stick to the meat while it adds a crispy texture. - Before cooking!
Spray the air fryer basket or use air fryer liners to keep the salmon from sticking. You also want to place the salmon bites in a row, allowing some room between pieces so the air flows. - Cook
Now cook the salmon pieces for 6 to 7 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Laura’s Tip!
For salmon pieces that cook at the same time, cut the salmon fillets into cubes of similar size. Once in the air fryer, flip them halfway through for even cooking. With these tips, your salmon bites will turn out amazing!
Serving Salmon Bites
What I love about these salmon bites is that I can use them to build many different meals, from tacos to salmon pasta! They are also a great protein addition for salads, roasted veggies, or over a rice bowl. You can even eat them on their own with a delicious dressing. Epic!
