I'm sharing all the "juicy" details for perfectly baked boneless, skinless chicken breasts that make every bite irresistible.

Juicy Baked Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Good seasoning, the right baking temperature, and the right amount of time in the oven make this recipe the best for juicy baked boneless skinless chicken breasts.
While baking chicken thighs is less tricky thanks to the bone, boneless chicken breasts can dry out more easily when roasted. Don’t worry. My tips will lead you to the juiciest chicken! If you have bone-in/split chicken breasts, read about how to bake them here.
Ingredients
In this recipe, I season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Hunting for a different flavor combo? Try this epic recipe for rosemary chicken breasts.
How To Bake Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Here are the steps to get juicy boneless chicken breast every single time:
- While the oven preheats, thin the meat by pounding the thickest side of the chicken breasts on a board if one side is significantly thicker than the other, to ensure even baking.
- Combine the seasonings with olive oil to form a paste and spread the mixture over the top of the chicken.
- Bake for 20 to 24 minutes until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165F. Time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breast; use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature: it must reach 165F for fully cooked chicken breasts.

How To Keep Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts From Drying Out
To prevent boneless skinless chicken breasts from drying out, seasoning your meat and using some oil are key. I love using olive oil, but coconut oil and avocado oil would work, too.
Cooking chicken breasts that are too thick can also cause them to bake unevenly and potentially dry out. Boneless, skinless chicken breast has a good thickness for easy cooking while maintaining the juiciness I crave.
Also, be sure that you're cooking the chicken at the correct temperature for the correct length of time. Cooking chicken breasts for too long is the #1 reason that it's dried out.
