The Ranch I love doesn’t come from a bottle. It’s the thick, creamy, tangy kind that restaurants serve that makes me want to drink it. This recipe is exactly that but better because it’s easy to make at home.

Ranch Dressing Ingredients
The simple ingredient list is another reason I prefer making my own. Mayonnaise is the base that makes it creamy, and buttermilk (or regular milk) gives it a tangy taste. Herbs and seasonings include parsley (fresh or dried), dill (fresh or dried), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

How Do Restaurants Make Ranch Taste So Good
Restaurants make their Ranch like this one, with creamy buttermilk and mayonnaise plus plenty of herbs, all of which make it irresistible.

Really good! I’m no cook and my wife hates ranch, mayo and cream cheese, so she wouldn’t even attempt to make me this. She didn’t get any for me at the store and I wanted some for pizza so I tried this out and wow, very surprised it was delicious.
